Overview

Prepare the bills, invoices, receipts & payments for a business. Manage the petty cash, produce the payroll, accurately complete daily accounting tasks, end of fiscal period, end of year tasks & produce income tax forms.

Occupations

Our Accounting program is excellent for a student interested in occupying a position as an accounting clerk, bookkeeper, office manager, payroll clerk, administrative clerk & purchasing/inventory clerks. It also provides a strong foundation for those wishing to go into business for themselves.

Accounting is a field that is always in demand in which you can continue to grow within a company. There are a multitude of positions available & careers in this branch can range from entry to executive level positions. Furthermore it provides a solid foundation for those wishing to go into business for themselves.

  • This program is offered in hybrid & fully online formats
  • All exams regardless of format are done at the centre
  • At the teacher’s request some activities MUST be done on-site.  
  • We have evening and daytime schedules
  • Students must have a laptop/PC equipped with Windows 10. MAC is not permitted.
  • RAC is available

  • If you do not have a Quebec Permanent Code, you can get a temporary code here
  • You must bring ALL ORIGINAL documents to the Centre to be officially registered

Persons who have obtained Secondary III credits in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in programs established by the Minister are required to pursue general education courses, concurrently with their vocational training, in order to obtain the Secondary IV credits they lack in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in programs established by the Minister.

Persons who are at least 16 years of age on September 30 of the school year in which their training is to begin and have earned the Secondary IV credits in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in the programs of study established by the Minister, or have been granted recognition for equivalent learning.

OR

Persons who are at least 18 years of age upon entry into the program and have the following functional prerequisites: the successful completion of the General Development Test (see the following table), or recognition of equivalent learning.

OR

Persons who have obtained Secondary III credits in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in programs established by the Minister are required to pursue general education courses, concurrently with their vocational training, in order to obtain the Secondary IV credits they lack in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in programs established by the Minister.
